Overcoming Barriers to FAPE and Student Truancy

As a respected education attorney in Pittsburgh, Christina’s presentation detailed the intricate relationship between chronic truancy and the Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) obligations under special education law. She reviewed significant barriers to FAPE and discussed effective intervention strategies by IEP teams. Lane’s presentation also included an in-depth analysis of best practices, supplemented by enlightening case studies that illustrated successful resolutions of truancy issues. She also came away with relevant and timely information from a range of nationally recognized speakers.
