Mbm news

Pittsburgh, PA (September 2022): The Partners of Maiello Brungo and Maiello, LLP (MBM) are pleased to announce the appointment of Christina L. Lane to Partner. She joined MBM close to six years ago and has been a key member of the firm’s Education Law, Employment Law, and Litigation teams. “Christina is a skilled attorney who needs no introduction; she is well respected in the public sector and her accomplishments are noteworthy,” says Senior Partner Alfred Maiello.

She is a familiar face as she regularly speaks at conferences, presenting her legal knowledge on disability laws and harassment, including Title IX news, the Americans with Disability Act (ADA), IDEA, Section 504, and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). She creates customized training programs, conducts internal investigations, provides compliance counseling, and defends her clients when litigation becomes necessary.

Christina has been practicing law for 27 years in which time she has gained substantial accolades as Litigation Counsel and Special Counsel. She has successfully tried to jury verdict with impressive results, mediated disputes to avoid litigation, and consistently provides personalized, client-centric legal representation.

She earned her J.D. at the University of Akron School of Law in 1995 after receiving her bachelor’s degree from Washington & Jefferson College in 1992.
