Pittsburgh, PA (April 6, 2026): MBM Law is pleased to announce that attorney Peter J. Halesey has rejoined the firm as Senior Counsel in the Employment Law and Municipal Law practice groups. Pete previously worked with MBM Law before departing in 2022 to broaden his experience representing public sector clients across Western Pennsylvania.
Over the past four years, Halesey has deepened his focus on labor and employment law, collective bargaining, and municipal representation, bringing that experience to MBM Law’s long-standing commitment to serving school districts, municipalities, and public agencies throughout the region.

Halesey advises municipal and public sector clients on a wide range of labor and employment issues, including grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining negotiations, and employment-related litigation. He works closely with public administrators, managers, and elected officials to ensure compliance with the law while fostering positive and effective workplace relationships.
Pete earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Pittsburgh (B.A. 2009, magna cum laude; J.D. 2012) and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania.
