Peter J. Halesey is senior counsel with MBM Law, focusing his practice on labor and employment law, as well as municipal and school law. He advises public-sector clients on a broad range of issues, regularly representing school districts and municipalities in grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining negotiations, and employment-related litigation.
Prior to joining MBM Law, Pete gained extensive experience representing public entities as solicitor and special labor counsel. After earning his law degree, he began advising public-sector clients, which sparked his passion for public-sector representation. Pete has extensive experience in civil litigation, workers’ compensation, and municipal law, where he collaborates closely with municipal managers, school administrators, and elected officials to counsel them on their legal obligations, particularly in the areas of labor and employment.
