Christina Lane, a partner at MBM Law and a recognized authority in education law and employment law, delivered a presentation titled “The Power of Executive Action and the Impact of K-12 Education” at the Forum for Western Pennsylvania School Superintendents, held by the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Education on May 2, 2025.
Lane’s session addressed how executive orders affect public education and school leadership, focusing on timely issues such as funding cuts, immigration, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), and Title IX. She explored relevant Supreme Court cases to provide legal context and guidance for school leaders navigating today’s complex educational environment.
