Allegheny County school districts are released from adhering to the 25 indoor and 100 outdoor gathering limitations.
Effective immediately, the more restrictive capacity limits for events and gatherings, which include athletic competitions, imposed by Allegheny County are lifted in favor of the statewide limits. The statewide numeric capacity limits are 25 indoor and 250 outdoor. However, Governor Wolf’s numeric capacity limitations are the subject of litigation in which a Court Order held the limits were unconstitutional, and until a judicial stay of the order is granted, are unenforceable.
