 		Lawrence J. Maiello is a Partner with Maiello Brungo & Maiello, LLP, and leads the MB&M Real Estate Law Team. He possesses substantial experience with commercial, residential, and mixed-use real estate developments. Mr. Maiello has worked closely with local and regional developers in connection with the acquisition and sale of commercial sites, ranging from retail centers to commercial office parks. He regularly prepares and negotiates a variety of complex leasing arrangements with regional and national retailers. He acted as counsel through each stage of the development of a 900,000 square foot mixed-use development. In that capacity, he assisted in the negotiation and implementation of a diverse spectrum of financing arrangements including construction, bridge, and permanent financing with both regional and national financing institutions.

As an extension of his Real Estate Law practice, Mr. Maiello acts as counsel to construction-related clientele, assisting with project management issues, construction litigation, and mediation matters.

In addition, Mr. Maiello acts as general counsel to emerging and mid-sized businesses. He advises clients on a full range of business-related matters including personnel, financing, tax planning, real estate and environmental issues. He frequently participates in the formation, acquisition and transfer of corporations, partnerships and other limited liability entities. He has negotiated the purchase and sale of numerous businesses, and has actively participated in the due diligence process.

Mr. Maiello also assists his business clients with their Estate Planning needs. His experience in counseling privately-held businesses has allowed him to develop innovative business succession plans. He routinely creates strategic plans for clients' estates and the intra-family transfer of assets.

Mr. Maiello acts as counsel for various banking and financial institutions. In that capacity, he assists with the structuring of a variety of financial transactions and preparation of the required documents for commercial loan transactions. He also coordinates MB&M's title and settlement services.
